The floral notes of our Scottish Collection Machair Flowers fragrance come from the riot of colourful and rare native wildflowers which carpet the fertile coastal meadows – the Machair - of the North West Scottish coastline. Subtle hints of kelp harmonise with harebell, gentian, orchids and bluebell, to create a botanical scent inspired by Scottish island shorelines.
Machair are particularly prevalent in the Outer Hebrides, where flowers burst into bloom every spring and summer, and are home to a thriving insect, butterfly and bird population. These unique eco-systems are only found on the west coasts of Scotland and Ireland (lucky us!).
